Kotor resident sentenced to 60 days in prison for refusing to take a test and failing to stop at a "Stop" sign

The citizen of Montenegro, the defendant VV (1986) from Kotor, was sentenced to 60 days in prison for three serious traffic violations, the Budva Misdemeanor Court announced.


According to the duty judge of the Kotor department, Jelena Stanišić sentenced him after an urgent procedure was conducted in which it was determined that he did not stop at the 'Stop' sign of a police officer from the Kotor Police Station, after which he continued driving towards Radanovići.

After being stopped, he refused to submit to alcohol and drug tests. 


"In addition to the sentence, he was also banned from driving for 6 months, as well as the maximum number of penalty points, which will be implemented by the Police Directorate once the decision becomes final," the Court announced.
